GrandStrandOnline.com has launched a new online Classified Ad System for residents of Myrtle Beach and the Grand Strand.

Free Ads

Ads are free to post in 15 categories, including Cars, Electronics, General For Sale, Pets, Tickets, and Yard Sales.  Basic, free ads will allow users to post one picture in their ad and will allow a description of 250 characters of text.   Free ads will remain active for 15 days, unless deleted by the user.

Paid Upgraded Ads

Users will have the option to upgrade an ad in the free 15 categories for only $4.95.  Upgrading an ad will give it premium placement in the category and will increase the number of pictures in the ad to 5 images.  An upgraded ad will display a thumbnail image prior to users clicking on the ad and will allow a description up to 1,000 characters of text.  Upgraded ads will also have a highlighted and bold title.

The $4.95 fee will be charged when the ad is upgraded by the user.  Credit cards accepted by the Classified Ad System include MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.  Upgraded ads will post immediately and credit cards will be authorized at the time of the upgrade.  After the ad has been approved by GrandStrandOnline.com staff, credit cards will be charged.

Paid, upgraded ads will also remain active for 15 days.

Premium Categories

Any ad posted in a Premium Category requires the user to pay $4.95 before placing a basic ad.  Premium Categories are Auctions, Employment, Real Estate, Real Estate Rentals, and Services.  The $4.95 basic ads allow users to post one picture in their ad and will a description of 250 characters of text.  Similar to ads in the Free Categories, ads will remain active for 15 days.

For an additional $4.95 ($8.90 total), users can upgrade their ads in the Premium Categories.  Upgraded ads in the Premium Categories will contain the same upgraded features mentioned above.

Ads in the Premium Categories will post to the Classified Ad System immediately and credit cards will be authorized at the same time.  After the ad has been approved , credit cards will be charged.

The goal of our Premium Categories is to allow small, local businesses the opportunity to post classified ads at inexpensive rates.  Businesses looking for employees can post a 15-day Help Wanted ad for only $4.95 in the Employment category.    Our Services category will allow local landscapers, painters, handymen, mechanics, etc. to advertise their services for only $4.95.  The Real Estate category will allow homeowners to list homes for sale for the same low price of $4.95. 

Posting An Ad

To post an ad or purchase an item from an ad, a GrandStrandOnline.com User Account is required.  User accounts are free and consist of a Log-In ID and Password.  With a user account, users can participate in the weekly movie trivia contest to win free movie tickets to the Grand 14 theater, rate movies, and more.
