The 20th annual Wooden Boat Show took place on Saturday October 17th in historic Georgetown, South Carolina.

The Wooden Boat Show featured arts & crafts exibitors, childrens activities, knot tying challenges, a canoe carving demonstation, wooden boat displays, music, food and of course, the national boat building challenge. in 

Eighteen teams from as far away as Austrailia and New Zealand competed in two man teams to build a rowling skiff within a four hour time limit.  Once built, the competitors launched thier boats into the Sampit River and completed a rowing relay across the river.
