Happy St. Patrick's Day! The following is a list of St. Patrick's Day events along the Grand Strand.
The 22nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, March 13th on Main Street and following the parade, the St. Patrick's Day street festival begins at 11 a.m. The festival will feature two stages of live entertainment, Irish food, over 50 arts & crafts vendors, and more. The street festival ends at 4 p.m.
Downtown Myrtle Beach will host a St. Patrick's Day celebration on Saturday, March 13th from 1:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. along Ocean Boulevard (between 8th Avenue North & 11th Avenue North). The celebration will feature live entertainment, authentic Irish food & alcohol, a Kidz Zone, games, and more! Admission is free.
Celebrity Square will host a free concert by Frontiers, a Journey tribute band, Wednesday, March 17th from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Various clubs and restaurants throughout Broadway at the Beach will also have St. Patrick's Day specials.
Friday, March 19th, the Dave Matthews Tribute Band will play a free concert from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Celebrity Square.
The Irish festival will take place Saturday, March 13th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Valor Park. The event will feature Irish music, children's activities, Irish beer & food, inflatables, and more.
Surfside Beach will hold a St. Patrick's dance Saturday, March 13th from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Civic Center. To reserve a spot at the dance, please call 843-650-9548.
The Palace Theatre presents The Magical Spirit of Ireland throughout the month of March. The show features the Incredible Irish Tenors and Spirit of the Dance dancers.
