Fourth of July 2010 Activities

The following is a list of events, activities, and fireworks displays in Myrtle Beach and along the Grand Strand for the Fourth of July.

Broadway at the Beach Star Spangled Spectacular

Broadway at the Beach will host a variety of activities and events July 3rd-5th in honor of the Fourth of July, including live entertainment, children's activities and a fireworks display July 4th at 10 p.m.

Pawley’s Island Fourth of July Parade

Pawleys Island will host their annual Fourth of July parade at 11:15 a.m. on July 4th.

Murrells Inlet July 4th Boat Parade

Murrells Inlet will host the 28th annual Boat Parade at 1 p.m. along the Marshwalk on July 4th. The theme for this year's boat parade is 2010: Freedom Is In. Entry fees are $5 per boat. The parade begins at 1 p.m. at the Garden City Point area and boats begin to arrive at the Marshwalk around 1:45 p.m.

Surfside Beach Independence Day Celebration

Surfside Beach will host a Fourth of July celebration on July 4th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the Surfside Pier parking lot. Steve Fairchild will perform at 6 p.m. and there will be free ice cream and watermelon and free inflatables for the children. The fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Myrtle Beach Pelicans

The Pelicans will play the Salem Red Sox at 6:05 p.m. on July 4th and a fireworks display will follow the game.

North Myrtle Beach Fireworks Display

North Myrtle Beach will host a fireworks display July 4th at 9 p.m. at the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier.

Murrells Inlet Fireworks Display

Murrells Inlet will host a fireworks display at 10 p.m. on July 4th. This is the first year that the fireworks will be staged off the end of Veterans Pier.
